“So What” Rice Dressing Recipe

In a large cast iron dutch oven saute…
1 pound hot sausage (optional)
when brown remove excess fat and add
2 T butter
2 small onions, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 red bell pepper, chopped
When veg is soft add…
1 1/2 cups Zatarain’s brand white rice
saute for 1 minute then add…
1 14 oz can chicken broth
2 bay leaves
Cover and place is a 350* oven for 30 minutes. Turn off oven and allow to sit covered for 15 more minutes. Fluff with a fork and remove bay leaves. Serve as a side dish to your holiday meal or a main course anyday. Enjoy!
